It's Lore Time...

VTuber Lore

A star, ancient and heavy, collapsed as it was dying. Part of it fell through the demon realm, piercing the ground. At the moment of impact, Nyxi was born. A demon goat formed from the dark soil and the white hot memory of a star. She was a creature of two worlds, perfectly belonging to neither. A creature of contradictions.
Her powers were chaotic in nature, it was as if she had the best and worst luck in the whole universe. Spells twisted at random, rituals bloomed into miracles or spectacular disasters. Luck danced around her like a fickle spirit, sometimes granting her the best fortune in the universe, other times cursing her with the worst. Only her flames remained steady and true. They burned brighter and hotter than any light or hellfire.It was only years later when she started glitching out of nowhere. Reality itself started fracturing around her and with things she intrects with. It was hell... Until she started to be able to open small glitch portals. At least that added some fun into her life. The portals were only big enough to fit her hand and Chaos (her shapeshifter pet).
They in no time became her personal vending machines to other realities, snatching snacks from worlds where no one would miss a bag of chips or a glowing candy. Chaos, the little troublemaker made the most of every trip.Driven by questions about her own strange existence, Nyxi eventually discovered the Divine Library, an infinite archive suspended between two realities, a vast labyrinth of knowledge, forbidden tomes and forgotten truths. The guardians there, intrigued by her hybrid nature, took her in as one of them.She threw herself into the role...While the Library expected her to guard the shelves, Nyxi dove deep into spirals of ancient mythology and crumbling ruins, hunting for answers about herself. The Library’s magic was rigid and cold, while Nyxi’s burning heart was chaotic. Their slow, methodical tests was torture by bureaucracy..In the meantime, her nature (and the ever-worsening glitches) caused... incidents. Books rearranged themselves overnight. Shelves spontaneously combusted in harmless(sometimes) but colorful flames. Entire wings of the Library would flicker out of existence for a few chaotic seconds or more. Nyxi swore that at least half of it was purely accidental. The other half? Well, those came from her enthusiastic experiments with forbidden knowledge she definitely wasn't supposed to touch.Eventually, the Library had enough.They cast her out.Before she left, Nyxi did the only logical thing: she stole THE Grimoire from the forbidden section. To the Library, it was a priceless, irreplaceable artifact. To Nyxi, the book had been calling to her like an old friend. She "freed" it.
(She still maintains they should have guarded it better if they didn't want it taken. After all, the Library itself had stolen the thing once upon a time. A book with its own will deserved better.)Now the Grimoire is her Infinite Journal. No matter how much she writes: adventures, spell notes, frantic research into this new world, or ramblings about fictional characters she grows dangerously attached to, or her gambling habbits: fresh pages always appear.
Sometimes, when the ink moves or the pages flutter on their own, it’s because the Grimoire is trying to "read" the world around it or communicate. It has its own will and mind.After the events, banished and free, Nyxi attempted to return to her home reality. She couldn't figure out her origins or how she came to be. But the journey was not a waste, she discovered knowledge on things she could never have otherwise. When she attempted her spell, she did have a bad feeling about it... It failed spectacularly so now she is stuck in this reality..
